Washer showing an unbalanced-load error?

The washer may pause or refuse to spin when it cannot balance the load safely. This is often a load issue, but recurring errors can also point to leveling or suspension problems.

Safe first checks

1. Pause the cycle and redistribute heavy items evenly.
2. Wash one bulky item with similar items or towels, as the manual recommends.
3. Confirm the washer sits level and all feet touch the floor.
4. Do not overload the drum.

When to stop

Arrange service if severe shaking happens with normal loads, the cabinet moves across the floor, or you hear metal-on-metal noise.
