TRANSPARENT ESTIMATES

Useful numbers.
No hidden assumptions.

WasherPilot only calculates what you can verify from your machine, utility bill, or repair quote. If an input is unknown, the result stays an estimate.

Can I wash these together?

For load compatibility and balance, use the dedicated Load Check rather than a made-up load-size number.

Cycle utility cost

Enter the cycle energy and water use for your washer plus your local prices. WasherPilot no longer inserts a generic 0.45 kWh or 18-gallon assumption.

Use figures from your EnergyGuide, manual, utility portal, or a meter. Hot-water heating outside the washer may not be included in appliance kWh figures.

Repair quote comparison

See what percentage of your replacement budget the repair quote represents. This is context, not a verdict.

Example values are prefilled below. Replace them with your real washer age, repair quote, and replacement budget.

Add the quote and a realistic replacement budget. Warranty, repeat failures, installation costs, and machine condition still matter.

Detergent amount

There is no safe universal fl-oz answer because product concentration, machine type, water hardness, and the detergent label vary.

Use the detergent label and your washer manual first. If suds or residue keep returning, follow the symptom instead of adding another guessed dose.

Cycle time

Modern cycle length changes with sensing, temperature, load balance, extra rinses, and model logic. A generic preset can be more misleading than helpful.

Use the time shown by your washer, then organize multiple loads around it.

WHAT THESE TOOLS DO

Show the arithmetic, then let you decide.

No generic detergent dose, generic cycle duration, or automatic “repair/replace” verdict is generated.
